Privacy Policy & Data Protection

CalcuFlow is engineered with a privacy-first architecture. Every calculator runs entirely inside your browser — your inputs never touch our servers.

🔒 Zero-Data-Retention Policy

CalcuFlow executes 100% of numerical computations locally in your web browser. We do not transmit, collect, or store any of the numbers, financial figures, or grades you input into our calculators on our servers.

1. Information We Collect

CalcuFlow does not require an account, and we do not maintain a database of user calculations. The only information we may retain is strictly operational and limited to:

  • A local preference cookie that remembers your selected theme (light or dark mode).
  • Anonymous aggregate analytics such as page views and approximate region, used solely to understand which tools are most useful. These analytics never include calculator inputs or results.

2. How Data is Processed

All calculations are performed client-side via JavaScript inside your browser session. When you enter a value into any input field, that value is processed in memory and rendered back to you instantly. Nothing is uploaded, logged, or transmitted to a remote server for computation.

Because of this architecture, closing the tab effectively erases your inputs. URL-based deep links (such as /percentage?val1=15&val2=80) are generated only when you explicitly choose to share or bookmark them.

3. Third-Party Advertising Frameworks

To keep CalcuFlow free for students, educators, professionals, and small businesses, we may render non-personalized display advertisements through reputable third-party ad networks. These ad frameworks do not have access to the values you enter into our calculators.

Where applicable, advertising partners may set their own cookies to limit ad frequency or measure aggregate performance. You can manage these preferences through your browser settings or any consent banner presented in your region.

4. Contact & Compliance Information

We aim to comply with GDPR, CCPA, and other major privacy frameworks by virtue of collecting essentially nothing. If you have questions about this policy or wish to exercise any data right, contact us at privacy@calcuflow.online.

The First Algorithm Ever Written

While translating notes on Charles Babbage's Analytical Engine, Ada Lovelace appended an algorithm to compute Bernoulli numbers — a method so meticulous it is widely considered the first computer program. She also predicted machines would one day compose music and manipulate symbols, not just numbers.
